Responsibilities
Collaborate with Leaders and Junior Counselors in the Village Program to create a safe and welcoming environment for youth of foreign nationals. This includes assessment of activities planned by Leaders and JCs, adhering to CISV's curriculum, and delegating tasks. Staff observe CISV's rules and federal, state and local laws and communicate actively with the Philadelphia chapter regarding any accommodation needs or issues that arise. Staff hold daily meetings with other staff and Leaders and must be onsite 24/7 throughout the 23 days (June 27th-July 20th), aside from designated days off. In addition to staff responsibilities, the Camp Director is also expected to:-
Work closely with the hosting Chapter and the Village program planner.

Choose a name and theme that is related to CISV’s Educational Principles.

Develop an initial daily schedule and a calendar for the 23 days of the program.

Discuss and delegate in-program tasks to staff according to their strengths and skills. Ensure all staff carry out delegated tasks and responsibilities

Oversee all administrative details of the Village program, including on-time completion of required local, National, and International forms, reports, and evaluations.

Respect the schedule and lead by example by being on time, well-prepared, and enthusiastic.
