End of year Chapter Potluck, May 21st

Join us for our final event before the summer! This is a family-friendly event.

Junior Branch will run an activity for everyone, then have elections to elect their 2023-24 board.

We will also review the year and recognize delegates who will participate in summer 2023 programs!

For the potluck, please bring something to drink + food for 6 to 8 persons.

The following is suggested to ensure variety:

  • a salad if your last name starts between letters A and I
  • main dish for last names between J and R
  • dessert for last names between S and Z
About Junior Board elections:
As you may know, one of the major parts of the Philadelphia Chapter is the Junior Board. These members are young, passionate individuals committed to representing CISV’s mission within our community.
The Junior Board plans and runs local activities through the year, works collaboratively with other CISV Chapters, and strives to make positive change in our society. As a member of the CISV Junior Board, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, work with like-minded individuals, and contribute to meaningful projects and initiatives that promote peace, cultural exchange, and global understanding. Joining the CISV Junior Board is a unique opportunity to grow as a person, meet new people and make friends, all while contributing to a noble cause. Whether you are interested in community service, social media, or planning activities, there’s a place for you on JB! We hope you’ll consider this opportunity to make a difference and join our community of peacebuilders.

To apply, submit a copy of this document, answer the questions and email it to either of our current LJRs,  (katespin30@gmail.com and ava.terosky@gmail.com). The document details all of the different positions available, along with who to reach out to with questions. We’ll be hosting our elections at our next activity on May 21st, so please complete this by May 20th at the latest.
