DESCRIPTION:JB is excited to collaborate once more with Friends of Cobbs Creek Park for a meaningful service event in January\, honoring Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Together\, we will engage in a park cleanup initiative\, contributing to the preservation of our local green space. Stay tuned for the announcement of the specific date. Let’s come together to make a positive impact in our community! Feel free to email Greg with any questions. \nCobbs Creek Cleanup at Mount Moriah Cemetery: MLK Day January 2024 \nSpecific Date TBD!! \n10am-1pm \nIf you need to leave early it’s no problem\, it’s flexible. \n  \nMeet at the entrance to Mount Moriah Cemetery on Cobbs Creek Parkway. There is a gravel lot at the entrance. \nMap with location (click on link):  Cobbs Creek Pkwy & Mt Moriah Cemetery (Map) \nFor GPS or to find public transportation options\, use address: \n1004 Cobbs Creek Pkwy\, Yeadon\, PA 19050 \nWe will be cleaning up along the Cobbs Creek Trail and surrounding area. Trash removal from trail\, creek\, and surrounding woods preserves this area for all to enjoy and prevents trash from traveling elsewhere in the watershed area. \nI will have some waders on hand\, for those who want to venture into the Creek\, as long as it’s not iced over. \nBring nothing (except your enthusiasm!). We will provide gloves and equipment like trash bags\, buckets\, and some pickers. Dress warmly! Waterproof shoes are nice if going on the creek banks but on the trail areas it’s dry.
