Village Guangzhou, ChinaFor 60 years, CISV programs have educated and inspired for a more just and peaceful world.

This year, CISV Philadelphia Chapter hosts our 60th Anniversary international summer Village attended by 70 participants from 15 different countries; 12 delegations of eleven year-old youth, their volunteer adult leaders, staff and teen counselors.

For a month this group of young people from around the world will live together in Philadelphia, learning about how alike they are as well as their differences, about the myths and realities of their cultures, and about how building global friendships can lead to world peace.

CISV programs equip tomorrow’s future global leaders with the skills and cross-cultural sensitivity to bridge their differences and work toward peace.
